If a patient requires hospitalization or emergency care, we coordinate seamlessly with the hospital emergency room adjacent to our clinic, ensuring that you receive timely and appropriate care.

Skin Infections: Treatment for cold sores, boils, skin rashes, poison ivy, shingles, scabies, ringworm, and other fungal infections.

Urgent Care in Dallas: Common Questions

When you are sick and need to be seen today, being seen by your own physician beats a walk-in clinic that has never met you. Dr. Rajan Kohli is board-certified in Family Medicine and holds same-day slots for acute problems — infections, injuries, rashes, stomach upset and flare-ups of conditions he already manages for you.

Can I be seen the same day?

Usually yes. We hold same-day slots for acute problems. Call or text 214-810-4331 early in the day for the best choice of times. If we cannot fit you in, we will tell you honestly rather than leave you waiting.

Urgent care or the emergency room?

Come to us for fevers, sore throats, urinary symptoms, sinus and chest infections, rashes, minor injuries, stomach upset and medication problems. Go to an emergency room for chest pain, difficulty breathing, stroke symptoms, severe bleeding, head injury, or any symptom that frightens you. When in doubt, call — we will tell you where to go.

Why see my own doctor instead of a walk-in clinic?

Because your record is already here. Dr. Kohli knows your history, your medications and what is normal for you, which means fewer repeated tests and less risk of an interaction. Anything found at the visit goes straight into your ongoing care rather than a separate file you have to chase.

Is an acute visit covered by insurance?

Yes, acute or sick visits are covered as ordinary medical care by Medicare and commercial plans, subject to your copay or deductible. Our staff verifies your benefits before your appointment.

Can you do lab work and treat me the same visit?

In most cases. We have on-site blood draw, and rapid testing for common infections. Where a same-day result changes the plan, we act on it at the visit and send prescriptions to your pharmacy before you leave.
