Dr. Rajan Kohli is board-certified in Family Medicine, which means he cares for children, teenagers and adults — often several generations of the same family. Well-child visits, school and sports physicals, vaccinations and acute illness are all covered.
What ages do you see?
Family Medicine covers all ages. Many families find it simpler to have one physician for parents, teenagers and children, particularly for scheduling and for conditions that run in families.
Do you provide school and sports physicals?
Yes, usually within a few days and often same-week. Bring the form your school or league requires and it is completed and signed at the visit.
Do you follow the standard vaccination schedule?
Yes, we follow the CDC and AAP recommended schedules, and we keep records so your child stays current for school requirements. If you have questions or concerns about any vaccine, raise them — you will get a straight answer and a real conversation rather than a lecture.
How are teenagers handled differently?
Adolescents are usually given part of the visit alone, which is standard practice and helps them raise things they might not in front of a parent. Texas has specific rules about what a minor can consent to and what remains confidential, and those are explained to both of you at the outset.
Is pediatric care covered by insurance?
Well-child visits and vaccinations are covered at no cost by most commercial plans under preventive benefits. Our staff verifies your benefits before your appointment.
