Concierge Primary Care Option
At Lakewood Primary Care and Wellness, we are committed to providing exceptional healthcare to all of our patients. While we continue to accept and care for regular insurance patients, we are excited to offer an additional option for those seeking even more personalized attention and convenience through our “Concierge Primary Care in Dallas” program.
Medicare and Medicare Advantage patients are always welcome at Lakewood Primary Care and Wellness — no concierge membership is ever required. Concierge care is simply an optional add-on for patients who want extra access and convenience. Your insurance-based and Medicare care continues exactly as always.
What is Concierge Primary Care?
Concierge Primary Care is a membership-based service that offers a higher level of access and attention for patients who prefer more direct contact with their physician. For a monthly fee of $200, concierge patients receive benefits such as same-day appointments, 24/7 communication with their physician, and longer consultation times. This program is designed for those who want to prioritize their health with more comprehensive, proactive care.
How Concierge Care Works Alongside Regular Insurance Patients?
We understand that healthcare is not one-size-fits-all, and we are proud to continue seeing the majority of our patients through traditional insurance. However, for those who prefer additional flexibility and a more personal healthcare experience, our concierge program offers an option to receive enhanced services without sacrificing the quality of care. You can still receive the same dedicated treatment, but with added conveniences.
Benefits of Our Concierge Primary Care Program
- Same-day or next-day appointments with no waiting.
- Direct communication with Dr. Rajan Kohli via phone, text, or email, any time of day.
- Longer appointment times to thoroughly address your health concerns.
- Annual comprehensive wellness exams tailored to your long-term health goals.
- Priority referrals and specialist coordination when needed.
Cost of Concierge Care
We offer this Concierge Primary Care service for a simple, flat monthly fee of $200, with no long-term contract required. This membership fee covers all of the additional services and benefits provided within the program.
Who Should Consider Concierge Care?
This program is ideal for patients who want more time with their physician, priority scheduling, and 24/7 access to their doctor. If you have a busy schedule, a complex health condition, or simply value having more control and flexibility in your healthcare, the concierge option may be a perfect fit.
Not interested in concierge care? That is completely fine. We continue to welcome all patients — including Medicare and Medicare Advantage members — through traditional insurance, with the same quality of care.
Concierge Primary Care in Dallas: Common Questions
Our concierge membership is an optional layer on top of ordinary primary care — more access, longer visits and direct contact with Dr. Kohli. It is not a replacement for insurance, and it is not required. We continue to accept Medicare and most commercial plans exactly as before.
What does the concierge membership include?
Extended appointment times, direct access to Dr. Kohli for questions between visits, priority scheduling, and unhurried annual planning. The emphasis is access and time — the things a standard insurance visit schedule makes difficult.
Do I still need insurance?
Yes. The membership covers access and time, not medical claims. Your visits, laboratory work, imaging, prescriptions and any specialist care continue to be billed to Medicare or your commercial plan as usual. Keep your coverage in place.
Is membership required to be a patient here?
No, and that is deliberate. The great majority of our patients are seen through ordinary insurance with no membership at all, and receive the same medical care. Membership is an option for patients who want more access, not a gate.
Is there a minimum commitment?
Yes. The membership runs on a six-month minimum term. The fee, the term, and what happens at the end of it are set out in writing before you enrol, so you know the full commitment before you pay anything. After the initial six months you can continue or stop. Either way you remain a patient of the practice and your medical care is unaffected.
Is the fee covered by insurance or an HSA?
Membership fees are generally not covered by insurance. Whether an HSA or FSA can be used depends on your plan and your circumstances — check with your plan administrator, as we cannot make that determination for you.
