Men's primary and preventive care
Many men only see a doctor when something is wrong. A primary care relationship changes that: baseline labs, blood pressure, weight, and the screenings that catch problems early. It is straightforward, judgment-free, and usually the single most valuable thing a man can do for his long-term health.
Low testosterone — evaluation and treatment
Low energy, reduced libido, loss of muscle, poor sleep or low mood can have many causes, and low testosterone is one worth checking. Low testosterone is a real, diagnosable medical condition — not a character flaw — and we evaluate it with symptoms plus blood testing before considering treatment. Where treatment is appropriate, we discuss the options and monitor your response. See our testosterone replacement therapy and hormone therapy pages.
Weight and metabolic health
Weight, blood sugar and cholesterol drive much of men's long-term risk. We evaluate and treat these together, including physician-supervised medical weight loss and GLP-1 medication when appropriate.
Sexual health
Concerns about libido or sexual function are common and treatable, and they can also be an early sign of a broader medical issue such as cardiovascular or hormone problems. We evaluate these privately and professionally and treat what we find.
Heart, blood pressure and diabetes risk
Much of men's preventable illness comes down to high blood pressure, diabetes and cholesterol. We screen for and manage these through our chronic disease care, ideally before they cause damage.
Screenings men should not skip
Depending on your age and history, that includes blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes screening, colorectal cancer screening and others. The CDC and USPSTF guide what is appropriate and when, and we build your schedule from there.
Insurance and getting started
Men's health visits are covered under Medicare and most commercial plans. New patients are welcome, usually within the same week. Call or text 214-810-4331 to get started.
