Well-woman and preventive care
Your yearly well-woman visit is the foundation of women's health: a check-in on your overall health, the screenings appropriate for your age, contraception and family-planning discussion, and time to raise anything that has been on your mind. See our well-woman exam service.
Prefer a female provider? Meet Alysa Casey, PA-C
Many women prefer to see a female clinician for their primary and women's health care. Alysa Casey, PA-C provides preventive care, women's health and ongoing chronic-disease management, working alongside Dr. Kohli. You can ask for Alysa when you book.
Menopause and perimenopause
Hot flashes, sleep and mood changes, and irregular cycles are common and treatable. We evaluate your symptoms and hormones and discuss your options, including hormone therapy where you are a candidate. See our menopause and perimenopause care.
Hormones and thyroid
Fatigue, weight change and mood symptoms are often hormone- or thyroid-related. We evaluate and treat these through our hormone therapy and thyroid care services, coordinated with the rest of your care.
Weight and metabolic health
Weight, blood sugar and cholesterol affect long-term health and quality of life. We evaluate and treat these together, including physician-supervised medical weight loss when appropriate.
Screenings women shouldn't skip
Depending on your age and history, that includes blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes screening, cervical and breast cancer screening, bone density, and more. We build a personalized schedule and keep it on track, drawing on guidance from the U.S. Office on Women's Health and standard preventive care.
Insurance and getting started
Women's health and preventive visits are covered under Medicare and most commercial plans. New patients are welcome, usually within the same week. Call or text 214-810-4331 to get started.
